Bismark finally had a above avg day on April 10th. 49 days in a row of below normal temps. (Never seen that before in the Upper Midwest.) The also were above avg on the 11th - 12th and 18th and 19th. And now back into the freezer. 5 days above avg in the last 62 days. Unreal.

That would make sense why it is colder at my cabin in Detroit Lakes than at my place in Duluth. usually it is the other way around.

Bismarck,ND ( and much of ND) has not seen a daily avg temp above normal since Feb 19th. I understand and agree the globe is warming (we may have different reasons as to "why") and that's good-- for it's real "science". But what is transpiring in C.ND is simply unreal in this age of "warming" -- and is not covered in the major media for whatever reasons that I will not get into to. In my research- I have not seen a major climo site in the Upper Midwest report a stretch of such above/below normal days since 1951. (42 days and counting) But here is the data shown below. And now a Blizzard Warning. Even in the age of the globe warming (and we've been through this before- and before CO2) -- what gets lost is how mother nature evens things out. And - folks- that's how the weather/climo works-- you just don't "hear" about the "other" side. Enjoy the weather- it's the only weather you got.
