Back on 9-11-2001 we were in the Bald Eagle, Gull, Pietro, Clearwater, Turtle loop and haven’t been back in that area since. I know I’ve seen Turtle mentioned as being pretty badly burned (I assume in the Pagami Creek fire). Was considering routes for a fairly inexperienced group and don’t think a burn area would make a good impression. Any insight on the current situation?
